Parkview second grade students joined with their grandparents on Tuesday, November 26 to do a variety of activities together. They also performed a short concert that you can view now on our YouTube channel.

Dear Parkview Families,
As we prepare for Thanksgiving tomorrow, we reflect on the wonderful school community we have at Parkview and how fortunate we are to work with such great children and families. Our staff takes great care and pride in ensuring all students are achieving in their learning and in their social/emotional growth and it shows through the relationships and interactions they have with students every day. On behalf of the Parkview staff, I want to thank you for your trust, partnership, and support for the work we are doing. Parkview really is a special place.
We look forward to our students returning on Monday, December 2. I hope you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and have great moments with your families and friends.

Yearbook Cover Contest Ends This Monday After Thanksgiving
All Parkview students are invited to enter a drawing into our Yearbook Cover Contest. There will be 1 winner selected for the front cover and 4 winners for the back cover. Turn in your best design to the workroom by Monday, December 2, 2019!
 Important Requirements for Your Drawing:
- Use 8.5 x 11 size sheet of white paper (not construction paper)
- Vertical orientation
- Must include the year 2019-2020
- Must include the name Parkview Elementary
- Do not use crayons or any metallic color
Tips for a Good Entry:
- Include a lot of color (including background)
- Use markers, colored pencils or a digital drawing

Spotlight on Kindergarten Tour: Dec 3
At 6:15PM on Tuesday, December 3 Mrs. Garcia and Mr. Zick are offering a tour of Parkview for parents of students that will be in our 2020-2021 kindergarten program. Questions welcome!

Chick-fil-A Night: Dec 5
Join us at Chick-fil-A, 7480 153rd St W, Apple Valley between 5 and 8PM on Thursday, December 5. Mention Parkview when placing your order and this generous local owner will donate a portion of the sale back to our school.
Chick-fil-A Volunteers Needed
From 4:45-7:00PM on December 5 we still need two adult volunteers. Volunteering includes a 10-minute training, welcoming guests, promoting the participation in the prize wheel and cleaning tables.
