ADARA and Skift announced new research, titled “Getting to Peak Personalization,” detailing travel marketer use of advanced marketing tactics for personalization. The study found that few travel brands have employed the most advanced tactics such as AI-driven prediction and dynamic use of data across channels, yet many plan to do so in the next year. Sketches of Fiji is a personal memoir that tells of the author's life European growing up in a depressed suburb of Fiji in the dying days of British Colonial rule, and the dichotomy of being a local Fiji European in a society ruled by expatriates. The book looks at Fiji's independence through local European eyes, describes the political adolescence post independence, and the impact of the 1987 military coups. Read more >

UNEP to host workshop on accessing finance and comedic communications for female-led start-ups
Female founders are less likely to receive investment and are also disproportionately represented in startups addressing green growth. The UN Environment Programme and the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership will therefore host the workshop on December 8-11, 2019 in Bangkok to enable female founders to engage with leaders in finance and policy and provide communications training.
