MUSIC DONATION TO CHSR FM

"CHSR’s music library just a got a serious boost. Following a recent reorganization of Music NB’s offices in Moncton, the province’s music industry association needed to find a home for more than a thousand CDs and cassettes released by New Brunswick artists over the past several years. The collection will now join the more than 77,000 albums included in the station’s music library."

CAMERON MOLLOY DEBUT ALBUM

Moncton singer-songwriter Cameron Molloy is releasing his 12-track debut album titled Lyric Journal, out on January 10 2020. It is a collection of songs delineating personal experiences — each with its own unique story of love and loss written with the hope to touch the hearts of listeners. Cameron’s album is the commencement of his music journey as a young adult.

NEW MUSIC FROM THE STRATIFIED

Fredericton band The Stratified is thrilled to announce the release of two songs from their upcoming record Lost in the Light. These songs will be made available digitally on major music streaming services as of November 22, 2019.
The band's debut EP, Crashing the Night Sky, was released in March 2018.

CHRISTMAS DADDIES TELETHON

MNB member Ivan Daigle will co-host the Christmas Daddies Telethon, on December 7 2019. The event, which is live on CTV, helps the not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to help less fortunate children in the Maritime provinces have a better Christmas.

Deux lancements auront lieu du disque Trente de Joey Robin Haché. Les lancements publiques, sous forme de 6 à 8, auront lieu le mercredi 27 novembre 2019 à 18 h au Centre culturel Aberdeen à Moncton et le jeudi 28 novembre à La Bibitte de Bathurst à 18 h. Des bouchées préparées par le Chef Luc Schofield seront offertes.

This landmark Canadian study looked at the contributions made by the Indigenous music community and the impacts that this community has on the Canadian economy and on the social fabric of this country. The study also looked at the Indigenous music community’s challenges and successes.
