Youth Group for Parents

All parents are invited to this group of learning, sharing and support. Kids need a community and parenting takes a village. Please come be part of the St. Matthew’s parenting village this Friday Nov. 22 at 7:00 pm in the parish hall. Bring a light snack to share. Please RSVP to this email if you can join us (click here). If you would like childcare available for younger children please include the number of children you will be bringing, by Thursday Nov. 21.

Outline:

Arrive, check in kids to YG room if childcare needed, $5 per child
Gather in Parish Hall
Fellowship, bring easy food to share
60-75 min conversation time on topics selected by parents
Closing fellowship and prayer

It takes a village to raise our children. A very important protective factor for children and youth is having other trusted adults to turn to. We under estimate our own need to turn to one another for the same support.
