From the Director...
I'm sorry to communicate an important change in our upcoming calendar. The Peddlers Village Parade is scheduled for November 30, not December 7. The miscommunication was multifaceted, but the result is simple. We will NOT be performing in the Peddlers Village Parade over Thanksgiving weekend. The families in this group have given unbelievable amounts of time and energy to the community events and performances this season. We will not ask everyone to sacrifice holiday time for this parade with such short notice.
Therefore, there will also not be practice for the marching band this Tuesday or Thursday.
For those in the high school curricular ensembles, please remember that there is an after school rehearsal on Wednesday.
Off season percussion and the indoor guard programs will be starting up in the near future. Stay tuned for more information.
PLEASE remember to join us for the December 3 concert. For those at the middle school, we understand that it's a busy time of year. However, the concert is the best available demonstration of the high school classroom band experience available before program planning begins in January.
I'm sorry I won't see some of you this week, but I look forward to seeing everyone at the January banquet!
