Eight directors selected for 2019

WIDC Story & Leadership – WFF Industry Immersion

WIDC Feature Film Award Update

Red Snow

Pictured (l-r) filmmaker, Marie Clements with one of the stars of Red Snow, Mozhdah Jamalzadah at the ImagineNATIVE screening. Following its VIFF world premiere, Red Snow has earned Most Popular Canadian Feature (VIFF); Best Canadian Feature (EIFF), Best Director (AIFF), sold out its Yellowknife IFF screening, and has been picked up for Canadian distribution by A-71. Stay tuned for updates on the film's planned community tour and theatrical release.

Rustic Oracle

Pictured (l-r)  Mary Lou Mintram, distributor 7th Screen with filmmaker Sonia Bonspille Boileau at Rustic Oracle's ImagineNATIVE screening. Following world premiere at VIFF the film also closed the 30th Annual St John's International Women's Film Festival, and picked up Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress Awards (AIFF). A community tour is planned to align with the film's release - stay tuned!
