Tech workers are demanding more power and say in what we do. We want better working conditions, equitable treatment among our coworkers, and to engage in ethical practices.
There are many tactics workers engage in to achieve this goal. Joining a labor union is one to consider. However, many tech workers are unfamiliar with how unions operate.
We'll host two special guests from the world of unions to discuss how unions function and what work they're doing in an open conversation.
[Note: the 3rd floor of Sixth Street Center is not wheelchair accessible. If you're unable to access the space, please email us at info@techworkersco.nyc so we can work out how best to accommodate your needs. We are very close to finalizing a permanent meeting location that is wheelchair accessible.]
