Holiday Beverage Parade!

Celebrate the season and raise a glass, or mug, filled with something spicy. We're teaming up with Timber City Ginger Beer at our Seattle store on Saturday, November 23rd from 1-3PM to demo some of our favorites. Come join us to taste some creative concoctions or fill your pantry with these spicy ingredients and whip some up at home. Read on!

Mulling Spice

A holiday favorite, mulling spice can be used in so many ways. Make hot mulled apple cider for everyone to enjoy, or Warm Winter Sangria for the grown-ups. Add citrus flavor with orange juice and rind, swap out the apple cider for pear cider or add pomegranate to jazz up the brew. Have a taste on Saturday when we mix some up with Timber City Ginger Beer!

Mystic Licorice

What wonders lie in the depths of this cup? Packed with sweet and spice in just the right balance, enjoy Mystic Licorice Tea as-is or customize the flavors. Want a pick me-up? Add a hearty black tea like our Jorhat Assam. Care for a toddy? Add a nip and a dollop of Madrona Smoked Honey. Curious to try it? We'll be serving some up at the tasting on Saturday.

Mayan Cocoa

Cocoa and chilies are a match made in heaven, and we've added spices and sesame to round out the flavors even more in our palate pleasing Mayan Cocoa blend. The mellow heat and subtle spicing make this drink accessible for everyone to enjoy, plus it's a great choice for holiday baking. We'll be brewing some up on Saturday so come by our Flagship Store on Western Avenue between 1-3PM for a taste.
