On Behalf of the Journey Home, I would like to thank you again for supporting and attending the Continuum of Care Lunch and Fundraiser on October 4, 2019. With your support, WE DID IT! 478 people from all walks of life gathered at Center Plaza and set a new world record with Guinness World Records for having the largest gathering of people breaking bread together. Please check out some of the event’s pictures here.

What’s Next?
Below is a list of our current initiatives.

Action Plan on Homelessness
Built for Zero Initiative
Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program
Pathways Forward Challenge
Maryland Medicaid Pilot Program: Through this innovative public-private partnership, Baltimore City provides permanent housing and supportive services to 200 medically vulnerable residents experiencing homelessness.
Elevating the Role of People with Lived Experience and Expertise: We believe that people most directly impacted by homelessness have the best understanding of the problem and solutions. Our CoC is prioritizing leadership opportunities for young people and adults to ensure that our efforts are inclusive and effective.

We are excited about these ongoing initiatives, but we also know that it will take the understanding and investment from our entire community to truly prevent and end homelessness in Baltimore City. We look forward to continuing and expanding this ambitious work with you.
