Swords to Plowshares awarded $200,000 from Bank of America

We are proud to announce that we have been selected as the latest Neighborhood Builders grant from Bank of America. With this grant, we will receive $200,000 in flexible funding and leadership training to help scale our efforts toward ending homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area.

New Construction Training Program

Swords to Plowshares has partnered with One Treasure Island to help veterans who are interested in a career in construction! On top of free job training and construction certifications, we offer participants a paid stipend during training, work clothes, transportation, paid union dues, and other supportive services.
