Dear Breton Downs Families,
 

Just a friendly reminder that this is a shortened week at Breton Downs- no school on Wednesday (11/27), Thursday (11/28), and Friday (11/29).  Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!  Enjoy your time with friends and family!

Guided by our 5th grade leaders, we will be introducing our students to Community Kindness Day on Tuesday, December 10.  Our focus will be how our students can spread kindness in our community and contribute to specific, local organizations by forgoing the traditional, classroom holiday party. 

Community Kindness Day will have three segments including a literature connection, teaching/presentation on the organization, and a service learning project.  Listed below are the local agencies our students will be supporting and how students and families can donate for our service learning project. We are also asking that each student K-4 donate $1 to help with the cost of materials.  Boxes for donations can be found in the hallway by the main office. All donations need to be made by Monday, December 9.
