At the PTO Meeting on November 19th, the members in attendance discussed the following:

Box Tops reported receiving our recent submission for $152.30. The next check will be issued in December.

We received a check for Kroger Community Rewards through September 1 for $135.26.

A check was received from Shoparoo for $277.34.

We received a $100 Walmart gift card for participating in the Reading for Education booklet fundraiser. The check for the booklets submitted totaling $740 was issued on 11/15/19.

Trunk-or-Treat on 10/25 served 15,000 pieces of candy to 730 (433 from Glade Hill and 297 others from the community). We spent $889.74 in candy which was $110.26 under budget.

We served 29 students at the Top Shots Ice Cream Party (4 were absent) and spent a total of $51.55.

We sold $410 in donated goods at the Election Day Bake Sale.

We purchased pizzas for staff members on STEAM night for $78.23.

We approved a request for new pencil sharpeners for the art room.

It was decided not to hold the Momstrapranuers/Parent shop on Friday 12/13.19.

The December Regular Meeting on Tuesday, 12/10, will be to finalize details for the Santa Shop. The Santa Shop for students will be held on Tuesday 12/17 and Wednesday 12/18. Forms will go home on Monday 12/2 after returning from Thanksgiving Break and will be due in no later than Friday 12/13 with payment. Volunteers interested in assisting with shopping, organizing, and set-up on Monday 12/16 or working either day for the shop should contact the PTO.

It was voted to replace the existing soccer nets in the spring. They will not be installed until Mrs. Poindexter receives the practice schedule from coaches using the field and will be taken down promptly after to preserve them for future use. Details regarding that and use of the baseball field will be available at the office in the Spring.

A new photography company will be researched for a potential fundraiser next fall. We will not be pursuing it in the spring.
