Hi <<First Name>>,

The fall semester is nearly over and the competition season is coming soon!  Here are some TUMG quick hits:

  • Evan Salters just accepted a job with JP Morgan as an Analyst within Risk Management/Strategic Analytics.  Interestingly, he will be working in the same building as alumnus Joe Rank and current team member Jackson Heitland.
  • The men's team had the opportunity to be a part of the Tim Weaver Battlefield meet.  It was a prime fundraising opportunity and they connected with alumni, JO gymnasts, and old friends.
  • We had 12 prospective students visit Temple during the fall semester.
  • Fred Turoff, Jared Holmes, and PBG coaches Tom Elder and Antonio Almeda-Lopez will work at the IGC Thanksgiving clinic in Stroudsburg, PA.

Announcing the inaugural Fred Turoff Invitational!  This meet will take place at Lincoln Financial Field on Feb 21-23, 2020.  Friday night TUMG will take on the New York Alliance.  We'd like to invite all alumni to see the meet.  Afterwards, we'd like to host an alumni cocktail hour and a team meet and greet.
Coaches, please save the date for our TUMG meet fundraiser!  We plan to open registration in early December.  This meet is one of the monetary backbones for sustaining our program.
Fred ran into Olympic Champion Yang Wei in Stuttgart, Germany while attending the World Championships.  According to Fred, his English was much better than Fred's Chinese.
That wraps up our November newsletter.  Thanks for keeping involved.  We hope you have an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your family, <<First Name>>.
