Cloud Sequence- Carve Like Water

‘Carve Like Water’ comes off the debut EP from newly-formed Mparntwe (Alice Springs) duo Cloud Sequence. Melancholic, dreamy and moody, all songs on their Rpt. Esc. EP are born from long lasting live improvisations inspired by a field recording, a synth bass, vast desert landscapes, sensitive queer politics, bilingual poetry and all other things. Thereafter carefully layed-out and puzzled. Edited and Deleted.

Tom Curtain- 'She Gave Us A Song'
'She Gave Us The Song' comes off Katherine artist Tom Curtain's latest album 'We're Still Here', released in late 2019. In May 2019, Lee Kernaghan forwarded Garth Porter a draft of some lyrics written by Kelly Dixon that honour the astounding contribution Joy McKean (Slim Dusty’s wife) has made to Australian Country Music. Garth got to work creating 'She Gave Us the Song' and offered Tom the song to include on his album. This is their tribute to Joy in her 90th year.
