Elaine helped serve Thanksgiving lunch to the students and their families at Johnston.
Erwin Key Club did a staff vs student volleyball game for their spread the warmth fundraiser last week.  They raised over $2,000 in 3 days!  They also threw out "warmth" to the student body, which students loved. The club bought hats, socks and mittens to throw out to them.
So far, they have been able to give out 5 space heaters and a few blankets to families in need. The school social worker is working through a list of families to give out more. The Key Club is still looking for donations, so if you know if any businesses or people who are willing to donate to this great project, let Windell or Elaine know.
Eliada Home Kiwanis Playground Update

We will be giving about $1800 towards the playground, which is the money raised from the silent auction at our gala.

Another way you can help is to sign up for
Amazon Smile and add Eliada Home as your charity.   When you buy anything on Amazon, 5% of the purchase will go towards the Eliada Playground.  You have to place your order from the Amazon Smile page.  Tell your family and friends so they can help us too!  If you need help, I can show you at our next meeting.
