Homecoming Weekend 2020, save the date!

Join us for Homecoming Weekend, April 23 to 26, 2020, to celebrate Village Hall's 100th anniversary, 60 years of student missions, and 50 years of art majors.

Special reunions will be held for art majors, honor-year classes, anyone who participated in drama productions, and for those who served as student missionaries.

The weekend will officially begin on Thursday evening with the alumni homecoming banquet, where we'll honor alumni of the year. Our Sabbath guest speakers will be Joe Kidder '80 and Eileen States '95. Other weekend events will include PRISM vespers, the annual golf tournament, honor class reunions and photos, seminars by faculty and alumni, and more!

With more than 30 events planned and nearly 1,000 alumni registering for the weekend you are bound to make new memories with your fellow alumni and friends!

Tip: Reserve lodging early — find discounted lodging options by visiting our homecoming web page.

Beautiful Rosario: Enjoying the book of nature

More than 100 alumni gathered for another beautiful Rosario Alumni Sabbath the last full weekend in August. Guests enjoyed this year's speaker, Greg Dodds '97, professor and chair of the Department of History, who spoke on the books of scripture and nature, encouraging us to study both to form a balanced view of our Creator.

In addition to visiting with friendly faces (including Donald Blake, Roland Blaich and Doug Clark this year) we can always count on Rosario's stunning scenery, excellent speakers and delicious food. Make a note on your calendar now to join us at Rosario Aug. 28 to 30, 2020, when Joe Galusha '68, professor emeritus of biology, will be our guest speaker. Reservations for the weekend open in June 2020.

Comprehensive renovation planned for Sittner Hall

To help us ensure our campus housing options are comfortable and safe well into the future, last year Walla Walla University hired a comprehensive higher education consulting firm that specializes in master planning and facility management. Following a full review of all WWU campus housing, Sittner Hall (our largest men's residence hall), which has served WWU durably since 1946, was selected for the first phase of renovations. Learn more about what the Sittner Hall renovation will include and when it will be completed.
