Your Agency Relations Newsletter (YARN)
A Newsletter for Agency Partners Putting the Pump in Pumpkin
Thank You Agency Partners!

How many times and how many ways can we say thank you to the incredible network of hunger relief partners who provide groceries and meals to people in their communities experiencing hunger? The answer is never enough! But hopefully you know how important you are to our mutual goal of ending hunger. Agency Relations and Second Harvest Heartland are so grateful to you, your volunteers and your staff. As a small way to show our gratitude, please find links below to a few favorite resources. Also remember your Agency Relations teams is available to help you access and use these and many more resources. Reach out to us to find out more!
Recalls are an inevitable part of being in the food business. Many agencies have questions and we have answers. Q: How do I find out about recalls?  A:  Someone responsible for food safety should subscribe to a recall list. Q: What should my program do when there's a recall? A: Use this template to get started and contact your compliance specialist if you need more information.
Minnesota Compass provides users with the ability to easily pull data by city, county, school district or draw your own! The site pulls data from a number of nonpartisan, current sources. You will also find a library of reports and the recently released Compass Points 2019 including notable trends and key demographics for Minnesota.
Do you have questions about where and under what conditions service animal and emotional support animals are allowed? You are not alone. This great resource discusses both types of animal and provides guidance about ADA requirements and other important information to help your program and clients.
Looking to thank your generous retail donors? Or do you need to train a new volunteer or staff person to safety pick up food rescue donations? Perhaps you're looking for temping guidelines, ID badges or leave-behind materials? Food Rescue has resources for you!
