Christmas In Cornville Storytelling and Presentation By Tim Caverly
The public is invited to join our residents and Retreat guests on Wednesday, December 4 at 10:30 am for a presentation by New England author and humorist Tim Caverly. Tim will be presenting the heart-warming holiday tale "Christmas in Cornville," which takes place in 1953 in a rural one-room schoolhouse in Cornville, Maine. Two young students are in the schoolhouse during a nor'easter and worry that Santa won't find his way to them in such terrible weather.

Members also receive the support of a dedicated OptumCare® advanced practice clinician. The OptumCare clinician provides care coordination and is dedicated to your unique needs and concerns.

'Tis The Season For Giving!

For those who would like to make a charitable gift to Golden View, there are several ways to help out.

Golden View accepts monetary donations, as well as items. Donations are greatly appreciated. Monetary donations benefit the resident activity fund, as well as improvements to Golden View. Because of your donations, residents can enjoy live music at Golden View, travel to see community plays, and much more. Checks may be made out to Golden View Health Care Center and mailed to us at 19 NH Route 104, Meredith, NH 03253.

You can also shop online to benefit Golden View. Those who would like to support Golden View while doing their online shopping can do so through shopping at Amazon.com through the Amazon Smile program. Amazon will donate .5% of the sale price of your item to Golden View. To get started, please

Please note that our Amazon Smile account is under our registered name, Metro Health Foundation of New Hampshire Inc.

Another way to help out is by donating to our employee scholarship fund.

Now more than ever, RNs and LPNs are needed to help provide the quality care our community's aging population deserves. With the cost of education so high, scholarship programs like Golden View's employee scholarship fund are extremely important.

Our scholarship fund is available for current full-time employees who are pursuing an LPN or RN degree through an accredited nursing program. Whether they’re an LNA who is enrolled in a nursing program already, a member of our housekeeping staff who has been accepted into nursing school, or an LPN who is pursuing an RN degree—any full-time Golden View employee who is dedicated to furthering their career as a nurse in the long-term care field is eligible.

Our goal through this scholarship fund is to improve long-term care by helping Golden View’s direct care workers advance their education when they otherwise may not be able to afford it.

Checks may be made out to Golden View Health Care Center with a memo noting it’s for the scholarship fund and mailed to us at 19 NH Route 104, Meredith, NH 03253.

Thank you!
