Putting New Citizen Engagement Techniques to Use at Our Dallas Academy
In November, we hosted our 2019 Academy, an event which brought together city staff and AmeriCorps VISTA members from cities participating in our Love Your Block and Guiding Opportunities programs. During the week in Dallas, attendees got to know one another and began to plan their projects. We also led activities using our new Citizen Engagement Techniques, which help cities develop solutions with residents and bolster connections between city hall and communities.

Cities of Service in PM Magazine: Creating Sustainable Citizen Engagement
