Blessing Box: Interested in helping with the Blessing Box? See Sandy Bush
or Deby Veach after the service to see what you could bring or donate.  Some 
suggested items are Vienna sausages, potted meats, canned fruit, ready to eat 
soups, canned pasta, and canned vegetables. Pop top lids are preferred. 
We also need volunteers to fill the box during the week.
Quarters for Clean Clothes Ministry launders clothes for those in need and the homeless every Wednesday. Donation boxes for quarters are on the bulletin tables in the church.

International Human Rights Day
Death Penalty Convocation
A gathering on the eve of the first federal execution in 16 years to hear from voices in the death penalty abolition movement.

Attendance is FREE to all, but we ask that you still choose the "Free Registration" ticket option for our headcount. Also, we appreciate your donations and sponsorships to make this possible. You can choose from those ticket options as well.

Following the speaker's program (which runs 1:00-5:00 pm), there will be a press conference, and then a 6:00 pm short march and candlelight vigil to a symbolic location. Food and fellowship will follow back at the church at around 7:00 pm.

Execution Vigil and Protest

Everyone is encouraged to attend the peaceful execution presence in Terre Haute at the prison.  Executions are scheduled for 7:00 am.  Starting at 5:00 am, the Federal Bureau of Prisons will bus protestors from Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute to the prison grounds for each execution. For those who prefer a warmer vigil, a concurrent indoor vigil will be held at the Sisters of Providence Church in nearby St Mary-of-the-Woods, IN. All are invited to attend either vigil presence.
