THIS WEEK
7:30am Walkers / Runners
9 miles - ROUTE

7:30am - 9:30am Paulseth Physical Therapy on site
Hi Legger,

We go back down to 9 miles this week to give those muscles a little break. It's Mentor's Choice this time around, so make sure to pay attention to your Pace Group emails for the route. The generic choice will be a Temescal route, but again, it's up to your dear Mentors!

You can also choose to train with our Affiliate Clubs- the Pasadena Pacers and LA Roadrunners, this Saturday. The details about that opportunity are below.

We've got our Physical Therapy guru friends from Paulseth on site at 1450 again- take advantage of their generosity and expertise while you can!

It's almost the end of November! Haven't you joined the club already?  It's still just $75 dollars for the entire season if not! Some ongoing reminders for everyone:
  • Register at laleggers.org BEFORE coming to pick up your shirt and goody bag.
  • Registering ahead of time will also help us help you work through any issues with your username/password.  Please email webmaster@laleggers.org with any registration problems.
See you on the pavement!

Training Talk Returns

This week we go down in mileage once again, so the Training Talk makes its return. Come out early this week and hear Coach Barry talk about how to balance training with life. As we near the holiday season, and life sometimes sends "urgent" requests, and training get put on a back burner.

A continuation of John Flynn's talk earlier in the season on Missed Workouts, come out this week and learn how to balance a busy life and maintain consistent training.

Topic: Balancing Training & Life
Time: 7:45am
Speaker: Coach Barry

Affiliate Clubs Meetup!

Come out and train with your local affiliate clubs on November 23rd!

The LA Roadrunners and Pasadena Pacers are co-hosting a 14 mile, supported run at the Rose Bowl. If you haven't run or walked around the Rose Bowl, it's a beautiful route with gorgeous scenery- and our friends at the Roadrunners and Pacers are awesome people to enjoy it all with!

There will be Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner Pace Groups, ASICS will be setup doing demos, and Nuun and Zwift will be out there as well.

Mentor's Corner

We ran it last week- but it's on point with this week's Training Talk, so here it is again! From Wansun Song, mentor of the 11s:

The goal is consistency.  Run often but not too hard. Keep at it.
