Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings from the Khopangs. We know it is late but we still hope that you all had fabulous family get-togethers for Thanksgiving! We also want to wish all of you an early Merry Christmas too! It is hard to recall the time of year when it has been soooo hot here, even in December!

Evangelism:
Joel had the opportunity to preach at several Thanksgiving Services this month. One was at Pajee village, where Pastor Cakeu's family has been ministering for a long time. Then Joel traveled to another village called Ban Bamai where he preached another service.
Over here in Asia, these Thanksgiving services are a big thing. Some combined villages will go on for three days and nights, some smaller villages will be only one day. They all bring their first fruits as offerings and lay it there in front of the podium/stage. It can be from all kinds of vegetables to fruits and grains, live chickens, and sometimes even baby piglets! (see pictures below) At the end of the service, all ordained ministers, deacons, and elders will pray over these offerings, asking God to bless and multiply the crops for the coming year. They also take up an offering in between the services.
