Nant'an Notes
Tis' the season for fun, festivities, and holiday happiness...and so it should be! But for some people this is the hardest time of year, as they struggle through illness, loneliness, depression, financial hardship, and the loss of loved ones. The glitter of Christmas lights and the melodies of favorite songs are sources of joy, but they can also be painful reminders of limitations, suffering, and loss. We know this too, as we suffered the loss of our brother Bump and continue to ache for his family. For those hurting, then, let us be a glimmer of hope and healing as we share our time and treasure. For the origin of Christmas is the story of hope being birthed into a world in desperate need.
I look forward to celebrating with you all at the Christmas party!

Is BrewRuck the new GrowRuck?
114 lbs of food were gathered for West Suburban Community Pantry as part of Face Plant's BrewRuck on Nov 8th.Twenty-one bros threw some weight on their shoulders and rucked 6 miles to Alter Brewing in Downers Grove for some celebratory suds. Check out some of the footage over on Twitter!! |

We have a December Challenge!! All Extra Credit running or rucking miles are being compiled on the 'December Run Challenge' tab on the Q Schedule/PAX Directory. Urkel promises a prize to the winner but we're not sure what that "prize" actually is. If you're out there logging some extra mileage you're a winner already! #SpringBreakIsRightAroundTheCorner
