Broadcast: December 2019

Welcome to the final newsletter of 2019

The end of the year is almost upon us, so I thought I’d revisit The Intelligent Miner barometer and tell you a bit about what's going on with me at present.

This year has been a bit of a rollercoaster. I came back to the mining industry following a year’s maternity leave in November 2018 and, over the course of 12 months, left a longstanding position at Mining Magazine, established my own company and started work with Engineering & Mining Journal.

I’ve learnt a lot about running a business, and have spent a lot of time thinking about what I want to do and achieve during 2020.

So, as of January, you will see more regular and focused content on The Intelligent Miner. From my own opinion pieces to interviews with industry experts, and guest posts from thought leaders. There will be interactive and multimedia content on social media and, of course, a new podcast. I’m excited to share it all with you.

As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and look forward to connecting with many of you in the new year.

Whatever your plans, I hope you and your families have a wonderful festive period.

Thanks for all your support

Carly
