We are in the final stages of bringing together feedback from young people in Tower Hamlets about how Primary Care Networks (PCN’s) could best support their health and wellbeing. The final report will be presented to the Healthy London Partnership Children and Young People’s Board in January and we will share findings with you as soon as possible. We are also linking with Street Games work on Youth Social Prescribing as it develops and continue to stress the need for both PCN’s and social prescribing systems to focus on how they can best work for young people.
We are delighted to share the new YPHP newsletter, which includes updates on our work on supporting young people's mental health & wellbeing, social prescribing and the work of the Health & Wellbeing Alliance.
In January we will launch our 10 actions to help improve things for students with long term health conditions. This is based on feedback from students and other stakeholders. We are showcasing the findings in December with a poster at the inaugural conference of SmaRteN, a research network focusing on student mental health in higher education. For those interested in this area the launch of Student MindsUniversity Mental Health Charter this month will also be a useful tool.
AYPH will soon be recruiting partners for We’re All Right, our latest participation project. The aim of the project is to support young people (aged 16-25) who have lived experience of sexual violence to develop a rights-based approach to sexual violence work. Applications will open on Monday 6th January 2020.

A new project, run by Catch22 and Redthread will offer free training for frontline professionals working with young people. The Social Switch Project will run workshops in 2020 to help professionals understand young people’s digital world and how to approach harmful online activity.

The Adolescent Health Conference: Working Together to Bridge the Gaps
