Let go, focus and reimagine

About reflecting, focusing and on why we decided to discontinue our monthly Breakfast Clubs.

With the year soon coming to an end, we have taken some time to come together as a team and reflect on the past year. It was a good opportunity to reflect on what is going well and which areas of our work we would like to focus on more in the next year to come.

Giving more time to develop certain areas, inevitably entails having to step back from other areas of our work. It is for this reason that we have decided to stop hosting our monthly Breakfast Clubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow from the end of November onwards. We are still fully committed to connecting with people interested in discussions about systems change and our work on Collective Leadership, and will continue to do so via other routes. We would like to encourage you to still go ahead and pursue having open and inspiring conversations and expanding your networks.

We might have some Breakfast clubs in relation to Fire Starter Festival in the future, but they will be for people interested in taking part in the festival rather than our other work.

Shifting our focus enables us to lend more attention to more deeply exploring other projects –we will be excited to update you about those over the next months.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Apply for Margaret Wheatley's Residential Programme in March 2020

APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: Sunday 12th January 2020

We have had a heart-warming response to Margaret Wheatley's residential programme "Life-affirming Leadership: developing insight and compassion (Warrior of Human Spirit)", with our cohort drawn from a wide range of sectors and systems. We have a small number of spaces left and as it is a busy time of year, we are extending the application deadline until Sunday 12 Jan 2020.

We would also like to accommodate a few more people for whom cost may be a barrier, particularly community leaders. If this is your situation, please mention this in the last question in your application. One of the team will then be in touch to discuss this further with you once you have been accepted onto the programme.

For more information and to apply for this programme, please visit our website here.
