2019 Review:
386 Artists | 49 Poets
13 Jurors | 300 Members

Please give to WMG when making your year-end donations to worthy causes. Your gift of $25 or more will ensure that we can continue our work for women artists in the upcoming year, just like we have done every year since 1992. - Please Donate HERE.

Please view the art and read the statement by WMG member Margaret Rose Vendryes which we posted below. Thanks to individual donations and grants more than 8250 women have exhibited their work since WMG opened its doors. Gifts and memberships help us to continue our good work and allow more women, just like Margaret Rose Vendryes, to bring their art into the public sphere.

We are truly grateful for your support of and connection to Woman Made Gallery, and we are looking forward to inspire artists and audiences with more exciting programs in 2020.

Thank you for being there for Woman Made Gallery and for being generous, Beate

P.S. Please make a gift today to help us reach our fundraising goal by December 31, 2019. Your support does make a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your connection to WMG.

"Hello Woman Made!!! I attended the opening for "Truth" which was a wonderful and emotional experience for me given that the work chosen has been a literally closeted part of my life for decades. Your open call prompted me to share it as that particular truth was definitely contested. I released my little box of ideas about Matrimony and in turn liberated myself in ways still difficult to express. I just became a sustaining member. Thank you for all you do! --M"

Thank you Margaret Rose Vendryes for your kind words and support: Truth as a Contested Concept.

ABOUT WOMAN MADE GALLERY
Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization founded in 1992. Its mission is to support, cultivate, and promote the diverse contributions of women in the arts through exhibitions and other programs that serve, educate, and enrich our community.
We rely on membership contributions and individual donations to create the programs that support our mission.

YOUR DONATIONS HELP MAKE WMG'S EXHIBITIONS AND PROGRAMS POSSIBLE!
Woman Made Gallery is partially supported by a CityArts Grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events; The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation; The Illinois Arts Council Agency; a major anonymous donor; and the generosity of its members and contributors.
