God’s Vision for the Church
As 2019 comes to a close, why not go out with a bang? The Bible sure does with the book of Revelation as its last word! Reading Revelation can feel like we’ve stumbled through an enchanted wardrobe into a world of magical objects and talking animals like the Pevensie children in C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia!
The imagery in Revelation can be confusing and downright frightening at times which is why many never read the last book of the Bible. But we are told that anyone who does will be blessed (1:3). And it’s no wonder for, if we look closely, we’ll discover the thing revealed is none other than Jesus Christ Himself!
So, let’s take a look together and see Jesus and ourselves in a new light. “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches”!
