The Annual Community Menorah Lighting, co-hosted by the BID and Hill Havurah, celebrates the start of Hanukkah this year on Sunday, December 22 at 5:00 PM at the front steps of Reformation (212 E Capitol St NE). The 9-foot Menorah was gifted to the Capitol Hill Community in 2014 by the Capitol Hill Business Improvement District in honor of past Chairman of the Board and Community Leader, Paul L. Pascal, Esq. The “Men in Blue” will serve jelly donuts and hot chocolate.
Join Hill Havurah directly after the Menorah Lighting for their Chanukah Party indoors for latkes, pizza and salad, music and dreidel playing, crafts for kids, and a communal opportunity to light all of our menorahs together.
