Spring 2020 CPT Updates


Hello International Students!

The International Affairs Department is currently working hard to process all CPT renewals and new applications for the upcoming 2020 Spring semester.

Some important things to remember when submitting your applications:

-The normal CPT processing deadline is December 20th, so do make sure to set your calendar and submit all your required documents by that date! We will not accept applications for current students after this date.


-We are now digital! Please use the following updated CPT application procedures when applying to ensure timely processing:

For New CPT Applications

STEP 1: Submit the online New CPT Application

STEP 2: Submit the following documents as separate attachments to your CPT program email:

  • Cooperative Educational Internship Agreement
  • Employer Offer Letter
  • Proof of tuition payment including the CPT Internship Course

For CPT Renewal Applications

STEP 1: Submit the online Renewal CPT Application

STEP 2: Submit your proof of tuition payment including the CPT Internship Course as separate attachments to your CPT program email

STEP 3: Confirm that your employer has submitted the Performance Evaluation Form
 

Additionally, it is currently our peak season for CPT applications, which may cause delays in processing applications. We appreciate your patience during this busy time and are working hard to provide updates in a timely manner. Please note that our team will send confirmation emails once CPT I-20s are ready for pick up.
