Online education in financial crime: January offering
Students now have the flexibility of an asynchronous education model that doesn’t require set participation times. The part-time Graduate Certificate in Forensic Investigation of Fraud and Financial Crime is being offered in January in an online format. 
Applying innovative approaches in the Forensic DNA Lab
BCIT's Steen Hartsen talked to national media about how more precise DNA analysis is helping solve cold cases locally and south of the border. Steen was also interviewed after the nation-gripping Manitoba manhunt in August.
BTech Grad Research Day: Fascinating!
From the role of social media in youth radicalization, to analysis of the latest in DNA extraction kits, students finishing their Forensics BTech last spring enlightened the audience on issues facing those working to keep us safe.
A “most interesting, entertaining, and educational conference”
BCIT Forensics had a phenomenal weekend of conferencing with the Forensic Science and Criminal Law Conference held jointly with the UBC Innocence Project at Peter A. Allard School of Law.
