Great news – Davey and Conor Harte have offered to do a Christmas clinic for Cork Harlequins junior members – on Monday 23rd December – 7-10yrs from 11-12 and 11-15years from 12-1. This will be free but there will be welcome donations in aid of Cork Penny Dinners on the day.
There’s going to be music, hot chocs etc in the hall after for both groups – along with autograph signing, Prizes for best dressed, etc etc…
There has been a huge response so far but any other kids still interested will need to register through facilities@corkharlequins.com with name and age.
Emma Buckley, Cliodhna Sargent and Yvonne O'Byrne, and a few more legends are also on board to help out – but we’ll definitely need help in the hall with serving up the hot chocs etc – and ideally some parents to bring baked goods etc.

This is a new initiative being run by the club to encourage mothers and others to start playing hockey. If you have played in the distant past or have never played before come along to our 6 week course starting in January. Make it one of your new years resolutions. It is 50 euros for the 6 weeks and if there is enough interest we can extend it going forward. If you would like to register your interest please contact Sharon at facilities@corkharlequins.com

A big thank you to all who came to the Cork Harlequins Christmas Party and making it the best Christmas Party ever. Thank you to the social committee, Bridget, Jenny, Suzanne, Tom and Co. for all their work and helping to make it a great success. It was another reminder of times past in Harlequin Park.

The Christmas Raffle has been extended to the 14th December to give all members a chance to receive and sell tickets. The draw will take place during underage girls training this Saturday, 14th December at 11.30am. The Joint Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport met with Hockey Ireland on Wednesday, 11th December at Leinster House. Present were members from the Women's Irish Hockey team, Board members from Hockey Ireland including our very own Sharon Hutchinson and TDs and Senators who work on this committee.

Part time bar person: If you are interested in working in the bar from time to time particularly during EY home games or club functions please express your interest and email facilities@corkharlequins.com. Reasonable rates paid.
Budding Journalist: the club is looking for a volunteer who may have an interest in journalism/social media. This might suit a TY student considering journalism as a future career or someone already working in the industry. Contact Sharon at facilities@corkharlequins.com if interested.
