The German Energiewende - A Look at the Future of Renewable Energy and Battery Storage
Join us for a CREATE webinar
Friday, December 6th, at 1:30 PM PST
What can the U.S. learn from the German Energy Transition?  In this webinar a panel of educators from Community Colleges and High Schools will share their findings from a recent international faculty professional development program in Germany.  The team will present information gained from meeting with dozens of energy stakeholders and industry employers in Stuttgart, Freiburg, and Munich.   The lessons learned will have great value for those working and teaching in the U.S. energy sector. Topics will include:

  • Wildpoldsreid, a town of 2600 "Prosumers". Can this serve as a model for the US?
  • What can we learn from Freiburg? Birthplace of the environmental movement and where clean energy is standard.
  • Residential Batteries and Solar Powered Cars.  Innovative Technology Creates New Business Opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you online!
