Thank You!
As we approach the end of 2019 and reflect on what a great year it has been, I wanted to thank our wonderful clients and supporters for the positive impact you have made on our lives.
I would like to speak for myself as well as my instructors that we enjoy the privilege of teaching and working with you and your dogs. We all value being a part of your journey in training and raising your dogs. These experiences help us learn and grow as instructors as well.
One of the things that sets The Dog Classroom apart is the value we place on continuing education to ensure we are using the most up to date, kind, and effective methods to teach the dogs in our community. Because of the support from all of you we are able to continue learning from the best dog trainers in the world by attending webinars and events such as ClickerExpo.
The experiences we share with clients working one-on-one as well as in group classes enrich our lives and allow us to look forward to starting work each day. For example, my Reactive class is always made up of dogs and humans with different personalities and I am reminded of how dogs pick their people and how heartwarming it is to see owners practice and learn to understand their dogs. “Butt-sniffing day” is always an emotional time in Reactive class but we all cry happy tears together and cherish these small moments.
We have also taken client feedback to create classes such as our Small Dog stream of classes, Walkin’ & Recall, and specialty classes like Tricks and Scent Games.
I asked my instructors their thoughts while I was writing this newsletter and one common theme in each of their responses was to thank clients for brightening our days, trusting us with your dogs, and inspiring passion for continuing the work we do.
From all of us at The Dog Classroom, have a happy and safe holiday season and we will see you in the New Year!
