Introducing the Urban Adventure Squad to DC's birds.

As you consider your Giving Tuesday donations, please think of DC Audubon Society as a place where your gift can have a huge impact!
DC Audubon Society is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation and conservation of birds and their habitats in the nation’s capital. Your support today will help us:
- Offer free, monthly community birdwalks across all eight wards. We provide binoculars to participants that don't have their own so that no one is left out.
- Continue our series of "Introduction to Birdwatching" classes, to increase appreciation of birds and the places they need in Washington, D.C.
- Advocate to protect bird habitat in the city, including our last remaining grassland habitats.
- Take part in local events as part of our commitment to be a visible presence among all communities in Washington.
- Giving a DC educator a scholarship to Hog Island Audubon Camp to help them incorporate loving nature into their teaching!
- Partner with other organizations interested in improving bird life and the natural habitat in the District.

Thank you very much for your support!
Sincerely yours,
