Join Heather Kenihan (Senior Programmer, Newport Beach Film Festival) and Tatum Rudow (Director, Call for Entries) on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 PM in the Control Room to learn why you should submit your film to this amazing festival. Discuss film festival strategy with two professionals and learn how to make the most of your film festival experience. If interested in attending this event, please contact Nate Bell.

 

CMA Senior Chapel, Dec. 10, 9:30 AM, Breakfast, 9 AM

Please join us for a special CMA chapel dedicated to our Fall Senior Graduates.  Breakfast will be provided in the PC Lobby at 9 AM and Chapel will start at 9:30 AM in Studio A. 
Chapel credit will be issued.

CMA Senior Showcase, Dec. 17, 5 PM, Studio A

Come support your Seniors who are presenting their final projects from their Senior Portfolio Class.  

UTalk Radio TV Event, Thursday, Dec. 5, 6 PM, Studio A

UTalk Radio is dedicated to inviting audiences of this generation to engage in conversations about real-life, current issues. Join hosts Steve, Larissa, and Kati for an evening discussing topics ranging from bullying to sexual assault, featuring three main guests and a live music performance. The event is also seeking to be completely student-run for this "quasi-live" event. For CMA students seeking practice and experience in live broadcasting, this is an opportunity to assist as lighting technicians, camera operators, audio engineers, and PAs. Universal Pictures: 1917 - One Shot Filmmaking Contest

Universal is hosting a video submission contest targeting emerging filmmakers to promote Universal Pictures’ thrilling new epic, 1917, from Oscar®-winning filmmaker Sam Mendes. Inspired by the style of the movie, filmmakers are challenged to submit a two-minute video filmed in one continuous shot, focused on the theme of delivering an urgent message. Learn more here
