CHRISTMAS FEAST FOR THE HOMELESS

Values shape a culture. Understanding the concepts of culture and its impact on society, reveals our potential for bringing a lasting and healthy influence on the world around us. One of the most vital assignments we have in life is to discover and implement the value of heaven, so that we can see God's will completely fulfilled in our lives, ".. As it is in Heaven." If our discovery is genuine, the impact thereof on us and others will be visible. The effects of heaven's culture on individuals, families, ministries, and all other aspects of the city life must have outward, discernible significance to prove authenticity. This is the purpose behind Kingdom Culture (Bill Johnson). Taken from the book Kingdom Culture by Dann Farrelly. What does such a statement look like in your reality?
We had an intense, but amazing two months! Seeing how creative God is, never gets old. Our lady in the drug rehab, is doing well. She is sounding better and better every time I speak to her. I truly believe that at this rate she will be able to re-unite with her family. Please pray with me, that these relationships will be mended. I’m in the process of trying to help one of the guys starting a very small business. He may not be the greatest businessman yet, but I believe that he will be willing to work hard, and I’ve seen his dedication through growing in his relationship with Jesus more and more every week. This is something that my heart is passionate about. I’m trusting God to open the hearts of entrepreneurs to mentor some of these guys, so that they can run their own SME’s.
I must confess, that we are also looking forward to the year end break to arrive so that we can reset and rest for the next season we are approaching. Before that, we have very exciting things still happening this year and would love for you to be apart of it!

Street Baptism 2 Dec 2019
This is one of the most exciting events of the year. This year especially we are looking forward to seeing if all the discipleship sunk in. Last night we baptised 7 people and 9 people committed their lives to Jesus! We are excited for the discipleship that will follow after this. Last year we baptised 9 people and we have seen how some of them grew significantly in their relationship with Jesus and some moved on from their regular spot on the streets to other places. We have also had feedback that some of them left drugs and were re-united with their families. Only Jesus can do that!

Christmas Lunch for the Homeless: 24 – 25 Dec 2019
After witnessing the enormous effect that last year’s Christmas lunch had on our homeless friends, we decided that we would like to serve them again this year with a Christmas meal. Besides for sleeping on the streets, our homeless friends had to face additional challenges this year, like having a serial killer in their midst of them as well as being beaten up by certain Taxi drivers, while they sleep. Thus, we want to show love to them when they can’t be with their families.
We need volunteers to assist with:
- 24 December 2019 - Preparing the food at Joy Unspeakable Resort.
- 25 December 2019 - Assisting us with dishing up the food and ministering to them.

BURN Worship Camp: 18 – 20 October 2019

Our annual Burn Worship Camp was amazing. God did things which words can never describe. We had such a deep time with Jesus. It’s truly amazing helping to cultivate a culture of worship to God.

Feet on the street
The week after the Burn Camp, was very interesting on the streets. That evening, people approached us for prayers and questions about how to hear God’s voice. It was a moment in which we taught this concept in a very practical manner. That evening 11 people committed their lives to Jesus. The interesting part is that 8 of the 11 people, were not homeless people, but people just walking by.
Worship Centre
We realised that many of the homeless people don’t think they can hear God’s voice for themselves. Most of November’s services were dedicated to speaking to them about scriptures that show how God is still speaking personally to us today and we had some practical exercises to demonstrate it to them. The one man heard God calling him “A breath of fresh air”. How amazing is that. It deeply impacted the man’s life and even motivated him to re-connect with his estranged family.

We had our last service for the year this past week. The raw authentic worship of people that know they are desperate for Jesus, never gets old. Please keep our friends in your prayers. We want to see them walk deeply with Jesus and to live a life drenched in His love for them |

Prayer points:
- Please pray for Karabo (street name) going through the drug rehabilitation program.
- I want to take more people through programs like these, thus I need more funds to be able to do this, as I believe it to be part of God’s plan to save more lives.
- I’m praying for the salvation of the men that mugged us. I truly believe that they can be part of our evangelism teams.
- God opened an opportunity for me to go to Brussels in December. I’m still trusting Him for finances to cover all the expenses.
- Financial provision on a personal level and ministry level for everything that we are doing.
- Worship Centre – Outpouring of the Holy Spirit – we’ve seen some, but I’m expectant and hungry for more.
- It is especially heavy on my heart this year to explore a skill development centre and get it going to have a lasting effect. We need connections and know-how for it to be established. I’m seeing possibilities, but nothing can be set in motion yet.
- Pray for me. I need wisdom to do everything that God is placing on my heart. Time management and financial management in particular. I want to be a good steward of what is given to me to be done.
- We are trusting God to clean the city of all foreign gods and practices that does not honour Him.
- Protection from witchcraft that is launched against myself and my teams & their loved ones.
- Hands and feet to help connect the homeless to employment and skills development opportunities.
- I am praying for a base to work from with the homeless, so that we can work on their skill levels and find jobs for them.
- I’m trusting for property where I can base missionaries & have a safe place for the people we help off the streets, to find their feet again.
- That more people will start to pray & fast for revival in our nation.
- I’m praying that God will become our country’s culture instead of everyone holding onto their own beliefs and corrupts His pure gospel. We all think we are right, but the truth is that only He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
- I’m studying again, and I would like to honour God with the outcome.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you, and the prayers going into all that we do. Thank you for believing in the vision that God is allowing us to be part of and thank you for your generous hearts towards us. Lives are being changed. One by one, but for everyone that is saved, I believe at least another 1 000 can be reached through that one.
