Today is #givingtuesday, a day to celebrate and inspire the spirit of giving. The sweet dogs and puppies featured on the left are just a few that have recenly come to rescue. Each one was rescued because of your generous donations and support. And during our Annual Pyr Appeal, your dollar will go twice as far!! We have a few generous supporters who have agreed to match every dollar donated. And Facebook and Paypal will also match up to $7 million in donations starting at 8 am EST on National Pyr's Facebook page, making it a triple match while funds last. Those funds will go very quickly (within minutes) but our double match will go on throughout the day!

Our volunteers work tirelessly to save dogs, 24/7, 365 days a year. We have seen record numbers of Pyrs in need this year, and sadly even more will need rescue as we get closer to the holidays. Your donations provide transport out of high kill shelters and they keep our Springfield kennel and boarding and intake facilities across the country going. Donations help us pay for the larger medical expenses for our neediest cases, as well as routine veterinary care. People like you make it possible for these gorgeous animals to have a second chance, a home where they are cared for and loved.
