Hi,

Today is the day! Giving Tuesday!  You can help us to reach our match goal by donating and sharing our campaign. We need your help now because it allows us to support important work in artistic activism around the world, scroll down for more.

Go team,
Steve, Rebecca, and Steve

You can help us kick things off for Giving Tuesday

We have good news!

This Giving Tuesday, we have a $10,000 matching pledge from a new donor!

We need your help today because creative activism can’t wait. We're hoping to get this campaign kicked off right and you can help.

If you give $25, that will turn into $50 that will go to support artistic activism. Give $250 and it becomes $500. Give $1000 and it becomes $2000!

Double Your Impact

What will your dollars support in 2020? Your contribution helps train artists, activists, and investigative journalists to develop innovative, artistic actions.  These actions help beat corruption, increase democracy, and win campaigns for human rights.

In the last ten years we’ve reached thousands of participants, worked in 19 countries and on 4 continents (and counting!).

Our alumni have:

-changed national human rights policy in South Africa
-moved the needle on drug policy in Seattle
-recaptured millions for infrastructure projects in the Balkans
-and much more!

We’re excited about what’s ahead because your support will help us get there.

Do you believe that social, political and environmental progress requires creativity and cultural change?

Please support our work to help make this happen.

Have you enjoyed these newsletters? Our free Why Artistic Activism PDF? The research we publish? Our podcast episodes? Our webinar series? Attended a talk or workshop? Been inspired by our projects? Or just believe that activism could be more artful and art more active?

Please support our work to help make this happen.

We are a tiiiiiiny. Your support counts.

We are a very small organization, but more and more artists and activists are asking for our help. So we need YOUR help! We need to raise $10,000 by the end of the year in order to double that money through a match donation.

Support C4AA

And we have something to share

If you can give $50 or more, we’d like to send you a “START WITH YES” print so your co-workers and friends will ask you about it and you can spread the word about artistic activism. It’s an original 11"x17" Risograph print designed by Steve Lambert.

"Start with Yes" is a shared philosophy around collaboration at the C4AA. It means start in agreement, start with acceptance, start with trust. It means saying yes to wild ideas. Yes to the world we want. Yes to love. Yes to working together. Yes to sharing. Yes to successes. Yes to aiming higher. Yes to making it weirder. Yes to the unexpected. Yes to utopian dreams. Yes and. Yes to the future. Yes to big risks.  Yes to possibly, probably looking like a fool. Yes we will do the impossible. Yes we will win.

We hope a reminder to "Start with Yes" can help your collaborations also!

Please share if you know people who would like to support Artistic Activism

We'd love it if you post about us on social media because there are always people looking for worthwhile charities.  If you've learned anything from us, or thought about things differently because we exist, we'd love it if you could post about that!

By the way Employer Match?

Your employer may have an additional match program which will further increase your donation. Donate through Benevity if your employer is already signed up for this (Google and Netflix are, among others), or contact your Human Resources department to find out how you can increase your gift though their match program today.

Please Make a Donation

Speaking of supportive companies, we want to fix an error we made with a name in our last newsletter. We received a generous donation from Golden Artist Colors and it’s Employee Owners. Thank you!!

Thank you for your support!

Whether you throw in some money or share our work with your friends, we appreciate your help a lot.
