Winter Break Courses Offer Warmer Climates for CWRU Students
|
|
Dozens of CWRU students are headed to other countries and warmer temperatures this Winter Break on short-term faculty-led study abroad programs!
Two groups of students will be having unique learning experiences in Costa Rica. Those in a multidisciplinary bioethics course will investigate health care delivery and environmental engineering challenges, and students participating in a biology field studies course will conduct scientific research in a tropical rain forest.
Students in the MSASS program going to Ecuador will experience an integrated approach to the study of multicultural issues related to policies and services that center around community development and healthcare in the South American country.
And while the weather in Paris is comparable to Cleveland, students on the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures' course in France have plenty to look forward to! The course focuses on the literature and culture of the African, Arab, and Asian communities of Paris, and students will visit cultural centers and museums, study communities and speak with their leaders.
You can start planning your study abroad experience today by making an appointment with one of our advisors to find the best program for you!
