Dear Members and Supporters of the Arts,
On this Giving Tuesday, please support the North Hills Art Center. The Art Center has provided 60 years of quality, affordable art opportunities to all ages and abilities. Art is important to the young as they learn how to express their inner thoughts and emotions, to the elderly as the arts have been proven to keep the mind alert and to those who hurt both mentally and physically - as art heals. This importance to our lives is demonstrated time and again as we continue to grow.
Part of the North Hills Art Center’s mission is to give back to the community that supports us. You can help us bring the arts to low-income families, domestic abuse victims, local animal rescue groups, nursing homes, the grieving and more. Your donation will show how important art is in the lives of all of us and will be used to support scholarships, shows, fundraisers and classes.
The following is a sampling of upcoming events:
- Starting November 23rd, during Holiday Artisan Market, shoppers can help NHAC by donating art supply kits to be given to Crisis Center North domestic abuse victim families.
- In February, our Midwinter Hues Art Show will include a fundraiser for the Caring Place, which provides services to grieving children and their families.
- In March, we will have our Art for Animals show. This will be an animal themed art show that supports local animal rescue groups and the lives they save.
The North Hills Art Center needs your support as we look ahead to keep the art center thriving for another 60 years. Your gift today will make a difference in the lives of so many who need help.
- $20 provides one art kit for low-income families
- $50 provides canvases and paint for elderly in nursing homes
- $60 provides a scholarship for a domestic violence client
- $100 provides tuition for a child to attend summer camp
- $600 provides computer tablets in our STEAM programs
- Any amount of your choosing is appreciated
