Spam email has been reported by a church member coming from a similar address as the church email. Please be careful and do not click on any links in an email that you are suspicious of. The reported emails had no subject, and a foreign web address immediately followed the boilingspringsbaptist.org address.

Tuesday

Adult Lunch 12:00 Noon in the Fellowship Hall. Catered by Harry McKee. Cost $5.00. Stage play Holly and the Christmas Gift afterwards in the LEC.
Free Children’s Show Holly and the Christmas Gift 10:45 a.m. in the LEC. A second showing for adults is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Presented by Pork Chop Productions and Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation for Dr. Bob Blackburn from 6-7:30 p.m. at Cecil Burton Funeral Home.
Crest High School Chorus concert at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Wednesday

Funeral Service for Dr. Bob Blackburn 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be no morning prayer meeting.
The Broughton Supper has been cancelled as the patients are unable to come this year. Broughton Bags are due Sunday. Bag pick-up outside Ellen’s office.
Christmas Shoebox Shuffle from 6-7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. For local schools, food pantry, and Shop with a Cop programs.
Prayer Meeting and other adult classes will be held at 6:00 p.m.
 
Ensemble Practice Thursday 5:00 p.m.

2nd Sunday in Advent

December Message Series: Sacred Locales: A Journey to Bethlehem with Landmarks from the Book of Isaiah. Isaiah is filled with places, hard places, holy places, but places that prepare us for the birth of our Savior. This week: “A Shoot, a Stump, and a Branch” from Isaiah 11:1-10.
Orchestra Rehearsal 2-4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Gingerbread House Extravaganza next Wednesday, December 11, from 6-7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Children, youth, and families are invited to join in the fun and fellowship of this evening of Christmas Festivities.  Come, share, and create!

Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army Wednesday, December 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children and youth are invited to join Alan and Ellen at Ingles from 5-7:00 p.m. Contact Alan or call the church office if you would like to help us ring the bell.
 
The Food Pantry always needs breakfast foods: Pop-Tarts, cereals, canned fruits, and canned meats. You are also encouraged to donate money to the Food Pantry ministry.
