Friday (Dec 6) 5:00 - 9:00 pm Holiday Hoopla starts at the Cheney Library with annual Tree Lighting ceremony at 5:30. This family events also features: pictures with Santa, choir performances, live nativity, letters to Santa, horse-drawn sleigh, hot cocoa bar, $1 S'mores, outdoor movie, and more….
also Free cookie decorating at The Mason Jar from 5 - 9 pm.

Miracle on 34th Street
Friday (Dec 6) opening performance for StageWest Community Theatre Lux Radio Theatre’s Miracle on 34th Street; a readers’ theatre version with live sound effects as in the 1947 version. Enjoy the warmth and holiday cheer found in this favorite story, and answer the question; is there really a Santa Claus? $15 adults; $10 Seniors 55+; $5 Students w/ID;

CBBA Annual Dessert Auction Fundraiser
Saturday (Dec7) 5:30 - 9:00 pm at Holiday Inn Express, 111 Betz Rd. Cap off your Saturday by supporting the Cheney Boys Basketball Association 4th Annual Dessert Auction. Live auction of exquisite desserts and great auction baskets galore. Admission is free. Proceeds support our basketball kids.

2019 Cheney Festival of Trees
Through Saturday, December 21st. Fabulously decorated trees from our local merchants with amazing items, each trees’ goodies are valued in the hundreds of dollars. You could win one! How?
Stop in at Marketplace Restaurant & Amish Store, 1011 1st Street to buy your raffle tickets and put them in the box next to the tree or trees you would like to win. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each. The more you buy, the better your chances to win. The drawing will be held during a Facebook live stream on the evening of Saturday, December 21st.

Through Saturday, December 21st. Find the Elf at each participating Cheney merchant and have your map stamped. Turn in your completed map to Marketplace Restaurant by December 21st to be entered into a drawing for one of three $100 cash prizes! No purchase necessary. Winners will be announced Sunday, December 22nd.
