Fall 2019 Grading: Now Open

Dear Colleagues,

Fall grading is now open for FAS courses. We understand that there may be difficulty in meeting deadlines during the HGSU strike. We are not going to send our usual set of deadline reminders as we do not wish to add to the stress of this period. However, we do want to provide the important information you will need for grading.

We ask that you prioritize grading to ensure that March degree candidates and those with unsatisfactory grades get submitted as early as possible. If you have grades for March degree candidates in your course, we previously sent you a list of those students. If you did not hear from us about March degree candidates then you do not have any in your course.

If you are prepared to submit grades for these two categories of high priority students, you can send them to enrollment@fas.harvard.edu and we will post those grades on your behalf. If you are ready with your entire grade roster then please go ahead and submit the grades directly in my.harvard.

Later today we will send you an individualized message containing your specific courses, grade roster statuses, and deadlines. You can submit your grades online through my.harvard. You can also download the full list of deadlines for all courses on our website. If your course is not listed here, please contact exams@fas.harvard.edu.

If you need additional information about the strike or faculty resources, you may choose to visit the Office of the Provost’s Student Unionization Website.

Sincerely,

Mike Burke
Registrar of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences
