It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas... in the Resolve office! The decorations are up, the tree is sparkling and we've got a Christmas movie night planned for tomorrow (the polls are in and Home Alone is the winning film!) We are also counting down until Windows 7 becomes unsupported in January, so we've put together some advice on how to move on from what was once our favourite operating system. All the ways to move on from Windows 7
When Windows 7 came on the scene we were so relieved, having battled with Windows Vista for years. But, now that it is the grand old age of 10, Windows 7 is on its last legs. From 14 January 2020 it will become unsupported which means it will be vulnerable to hackers. Wonderfully, Windows 10 is a great operating system, so you needn't worry about what to move on to. There are a few ways to upgrade to Windows 10, Rob outlines them all on the blog.

So, why do people win the Resolve Horse?
You might have noticed that every month we hand out the Resolve Horse to one member of staff, but you might be wondering why. Well, years ago, someone bought the Horse into the office and now he has become a sort of mascot and employee of the month reward. Keep Spambots out of your contact forms
If you're not careful, pesky spambots can get everywhere, even into your contact forms. Contact forms can be a great way to keep your email address private and out of reach of spambots, but the only issue is – if you don’t protect the form – spambots can use it to fill your business inbox with rubbish. But, don't worry, reCAPTCHA is a really simple solution and installs a gateway between you and the bots. Russell wrote a blog about how it works.
