This year 36,287 individuals interacted with
one of our 47 services and programs

It has been a big year at Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) and the Australian Institute of Social Relations. The merger of Time For Kids into RASA, rolling out new services the Good Life Project, Redress Support Services, Open Arms - Veterans and Families Counselling, the launch of GOM CentralThe Garden Practitioner's Manual and Let's Talk About Conflict video series, and the new FYI Skills Centre for young people in the north, are just some of the many initiatives, events, videos, publications and projects completed this year.

Individual, family and community wellbeing is at the centre of this work, and we believe that the transformative power of relationships is instrumental in achieving that wellbeing.

With that in mind, we would like to wish all of our clients, staff, stakeholders and fellow service providers, and their families and communities, a safe and happy festive season.

---------- Happy Holidays! ----------
2018/19 Annual Report

This annual report is dedicated to all children and young people who use our services and programs.

As this year’s annual report focuses on services we provide to children and young people and our approach in delivering those services, we have taken a childlike approach in presenting the report. The print version has a story and colouring-in activities for children, young people and adults to enjoy alone or together (view and download this version online here).

The print version is complemented with a detailed digital report, available online: rasaannualreport.org.au

Helping parents who use our services to be confident and proud of their parenting and enjoy their time with their children is a central feature of RASA programs. Feedback from parents using our services this year indicated we strengthened their parenting, with 80% saying they managed better as a parent, and their children were better off since coming to RASA.

Time for Kids Christmas Tree Giving Appeal
Thank you to every individual, family and organisation who donated presents or money to this year's Time for Kids Giving Tree Christmas Appeal. Many families of children in the Time for Kids program are living under financial pressure, and Christmas can considerably add to that strain.

We understand how important it is for a child to feel valued and to know that someone is thinking about them. At this year's present pick-up, the children bounced around the room admiring gifts and trying to figure which items were hidden by wrapping paper, while their parents helped the Time for Kids team to load up a trolley with goodies.

We make sure that every child in our program, along with their siblings, has the opportunity to receive at least one present on Christmas day, so that they may have a brighter Christmas with their families. This year, families also received extra sporting equipment, hats and drink bottles, second-hand clothing and food hampers.

We are still accepting financial donations as part of our Giving Tree Christmas Appeal. You can make a life-changing donation of your choice online at the Time for Kids website. Your donations will help us to realising our goal of raising $100,000 this financial year.
