The Art of Gratitude:
Honoring the Spirit of Thanksgiving

with Lonner Holden

Tuesday, November 26th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, PST.

Thought you might be interested in this humble webinar I did last night.

Here is the link to the recording of my webinar on
"The Art of Gratitude: Honoring the Spirit of Thanksgiving".
https://zoom.us/recording/share/_JXG_Ua8J-0NWlPT_EbF1Ts9VpAuIomltEedRC6mvnywIumekTziMw

We had a small, yet heartful group.

Please forgive the initial tech glitches and a few minor ones later on.

Being my first webinar ever, you may notice exceptional simplicity - as in no slides or videos to supplement - and a certain newness of me talking to others through a tiny computer camera - a skill to be developed.

Other than that, I do hope you find this message with its meditation, etc. a meaningful use of your time. Perhaps there is a new perspective here that deepens your practice of gratitude and experience of belonging. Like, what do Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, The Iroquois Great Law of Peace, and Leonard Cohen have in common?

You are welcome to forward this to others.

Apologies if you're receiving this as a duplicate.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Blessings & Gratitude,
Lonner

P.S. One webinar content correction: The title of David Silverman’s book is “This Land is Their Land” not “This Land is Our Land” - a significant error on my part. My sincere apologies to all affected.

P.P.S. Two links to items in the webinar for your reference:

So, what are you grateful for right now? What are the sensations that you feel in your body as you contemplate this simple question? What are the emotions you feel when you share with another person what you are grateful for or when another expresses gratitude to you? How is your outlook affected?

Gratitude may be one of the oldest, unbroken customs of humanity uniting us with something greater than ourselves, which is universal.

Tune into this simple, casual reflection on the place of gratitude in our lives and communities to enliven and compliment your Thanksgiving experience.

We Will Connect With:

  • Gratitude as transformative
  • The neuroscience of gratitude
  • Personal stories about the uplifting power of gratitude during difficult times
  • The benefits of gratitude in daily, professional and governance life
  • The Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Thanksgiving Address
  • The Origins of the U.S. Constitution
  • Acknowledging the contributions of Indigenous People
  • Remembering your ancestors

All who receive this event announcement email will also be emailed the link to this recorded event after its conclusion. You will have the opportunity to forward to your communities - through social media, etc. - this enrichment of our national holiday with its welcoming message and invitation to express gratitude as a daily norm.

REGISTER to attend live by emailing me. I will email you the link to the webinar on Monday, November 25th, the day before the webinar. Hope you can attend. Please feel free to share this invitation. Email:  lonner@holdenhealingstudio.com
