Welcome
Next club night is on Thursday 5 December starting at 7.30 pm in at classroom 1 St John Ambulance Station.
The AGM will be held first, followed by the results for Open, Print of the Year, Projected Image of the Year, and the Salon Portfolio.
It is also the night to bring along your best shots (up to 2 prints - NOT mounted) of any Club Member/s taken on any Club outing throughout this year. Please also upload this/these, as each is worth 1 point. These go towards the Hooper Trophy.
A very warm welcome to all new and existing members. If you are interested in joining, don't hesitate - come along and join the fun.

Christmas Do 19 December 2019
Christmas Do BBQ to be held at the park next to Kafe Ltd in Watermans World 52 Riverside Drive.
We will be organizing a fun Christmas photo challenge so bring your camera.
Please bring meat, salad to share, seats, tables, portable BBQ if you have one and something to drink.
Meet there from 6.30pm onwards.

AGM: Calling for nominations
The AGM is coming up on 5 December, so anyone who is interested in a committee position, please let us know as soon as possible. It's not too onerous and you get a chance to get more involved in club planning sessions.
Two members of the committee are standing down, so we'd love some new faces and fresh ideas. Committee meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday night of each month at 7.30pm. Meetings are held at committee members' homes.

How's that Self-assignment?
This is your own project for the year, where you get to choose your topic and put together a portfolio of three to five images. The idea is to push yourself to try new techniques and advance your knowledge and creativity.
Make sure you choose your topic soon, so you can start to put images aside for that as it seems to come around very quickly! There is a cool trophy too!
Assignment is due at the first meeting for 2020, 30 January.

Christmas celebrations will be held on Thursday 19 December.
We'll meet for a barbecue and Christmas Photo Challenge on the Riverside Drive side of the Town Basin. There's a small park beside the cafe there, so hopefully that will get us away from the crowds on the other side. Please bring chairs, tables, portable bbq if you have one, cameras, salad to share, meat for yourselves.
Meet there from 6.30pm onwards.
