On December 14, the Westmoreland Festival Chorus and Piano Faculty invite you to a performance benefiting SHC.
The Washington Conservatory of Music will present “Welcome Home,” a program of light-hearted love songs and exploration of our community as home to the refugee and immigrant.
Washington Conservatory of Music Faculty Pianists Jeffery Watson and Yejin Lee will accompany the Festival Chorus for Johannes Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes and PDQ Bach’s Liebeslieder Polkas, the latter a musical parody of the former.
The concert is free to all. Donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit the work of Solutions in Hometown Connections to welcome refugees and immigrants to our community.
