Swedish Radio outlines DAB+ strategy

Commenting on Swedish Radio's application for a national DAB licence, Head of Strategy Jan Petersson expressed the public broadcaster's desire to establish itself in this new broadcasting state and be prepared to increase DAB broadcasts in the future. Swedish Radio currently broadcasts on DAB+ in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Norrbotten.

SCA carries out testing on Adelaide DAB+ channels

SCA has begun an experiment in Adelaide that puts its live local breakfast show on air across each of its DAB+ stations in the city. Commenting on this initiative, SCA CEO Grant Blackley said that "if this works it will give a high level of personalisation, with different music choices for listeners.”

Ziggo to switch off FM services

Studec launches new digital professions training course

France auto trade communicates about EECC

Over 8000 people and 160 exhibitors are expected to attend the three day event taking place in Paris at the end of January. A DAB+ pavilion will feature at the event, where digital radio is set to take centre stage as France prepares to launch its national DAB+ network in 2020.
